Super Simple Thank You

These days I can only handle simple card designs because I don’t have a whole lot of paper crafting time, with the semester being in full swing.  This week I needed to replenish my thank-you card supply, because I’m always needing to send a thank-you note for something.  So I came up with this easy card and used up some of my retired paper to boot!

Grungy Gratitude

I finally had a chance to make a few cards last night, and I really love how this card turned out!  When I first saw this Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, it was not one that I thought I would get.  The “grunge” look is just not me.  However, over the past few months I have seen some really pretty cards using the various stamps in this set, and a lot of times one of the splatter stamps is used just for a subtle touch on the background of the card.  Well, I finally splurged and got the stamp set, and it is becoming one of my favorites!  This week’s card features the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in a mottled, splotchy-licious design!  I was going for some fall-ish hues, and I like that it came out so colorful.  Hope you like it, too!

Halloween’s Coming Up

I haven’t had a chance to make many cards lately, and I’m horribly behind in sending cards out.  But I did manage to make some Halloween cards a couple of weeks ago, and here is a picture:

Card_Halloween2014It was really a simple one, especially considering that I used the pre-cut and scored card bases.  I think it turned out cute, though, and I hope to get them all in the mail this week!  Happy Halloween!
